Who builds Authini
Authini is built by Mansur Ozaman, a computer science student at Nazarbayev University who works on media forensics. He started it because generated video now spreads faster than anyone can check it, and the tools that claim to detect it rarely show how they reached their answer.
Authini does one thing: it tells you whether a clip looks more like real camera footage, Sora 2 or Veo 3, and shows the frames, the preprocessing and the numbers behind that answer. How the model works, and where it falls short, is on the model card.
It follows his research on source camera identification, which compares deep learning with traditional forensic methods for telling which camera took a photo.
